The Seagate ST500LM000 is a 2.5-inch 500 GB hybrid SSHD that combines a traditional 5400 RPM hard drive with 8 GB NAND flash cache to accelerate frequently used data. It features a SATA III (6 Gb/s) interface, 64 MB DRAM cache, and Advanced Format (4K physical sectors with 512e emulation), providing improved responsiveness compared to standard HDDs while maintaining large capacity.
