The Seagate ST1000LM014 is a 2.5″ 1TB hybrid SSHD that blends conventional hard drive storage with a small 8 GB NAND flash cache for accelerated performance. It features a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface, 64 MB buffer, 5400 RPM rotational speed, and Advanced Format 4 KB sectors (512e). The hybrid design improves boot and frequently accessed data speeds compared to standard HDDs, while still offering large capacity and low power consumption ideal for laptops and mobile systems.
